How copyright works on BelloStock and what to do if you believe your rights have been infringed.

Copyright Ownership

All Content on BelloStock is protected by copyright. Every image and video remains the exclusive intellectual property of its author. Purchasing a license grants you the right to use the Content — it does not transfer copyright ownership.

BelloStock operates as a licensing intermediary. We do not own or claim copyright over any Content uploaded by our Contributors. The copyright in each image or video belongs entirely to the creator who produced it.

The BelloStock name, logo, platform design, code and all non-content elements of the website are the exclusive property of Fotograv di Antonio Gravante and are protected by Italian and international intellectual property law.

How We Protect Contributors

BelloStock takes the protection of creators' rights very seriously. Our platform is built on three pillars:

Invitation-only access: every Contributor is personally verified before being granted upload access, eliminating anonymous bad actors
Content review: all uploaded Content is manually reviewed before publication to detect potential infringement before it occurs
Traceable downloads: every download is logged with a unique license number, buyer identity, date and file signature. Unauthorised use can be traced and documented
No AI-generated content: Contributors explicitly warrant that all Content is original human-created photography or videography

Using Content Correctly

When you purchase a license on BelloStock, you receive the right to use the Content according to the specific terms of your license. The license number embedded in your downloaded file serves as proof of your right to use the image.

Using Content beyond the scope of your purchased license — including sharing, reselling, or distributing files to third parties — constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action by the Content's author.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a rights holder

If you believe that Content available on BelloStock infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to info@bellostock.com containing the following information:

Your full name and contact details
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
The URL of the allegedly infringing Content on BelloStock
Evidence of your ownership or authorisation to act on behalf of the rights holder
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf

We will investigate all legitimate notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removal of the Content pending investigation.

If you believe you are using Content legitimately

If you have received a copyright claim regarding Content you licensed through BelloStock, your license number is your proof of authorised use. Please contact us with your license number and we will assist in resolving the dispute.

Berne Convention

BelloStock operates under Italian law and in compliance with the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, to which Italy and over 180 other countries are signatories. This means that copyright protection for Content on our platform is automatically recognised in all member countries without registration or formality.

DMCA

For rights holders based in the United States, BelloStock responds to valid notices submitted in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Please use our dedicated DMCA Notice form for structured and prompt processing. Alternatively, you may email info@bellostock.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice".
